Being Discovered Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Being Discovered

Deceivers who sell,
Lies told to tell.
On others and to themselves.
Eventually...
Only leaves God,
Listening to reasons...
As to why,
They should be forgiven.
And not for lies told to tell.
But for being discovered,
To have deceived each other.
Done to have those,
Who already know...
Them to be liars not to buy,
Anything they say.
To later be blame liars as well.
Even though...
God has yet heard a word,
From them to defend...
Or rushing to beg,
Of God for HIS forgiveness.
For what they did not do.
Sought to seek,
To have God believe...
What had been done to intend,
Was not meant.
Until the doing to others,
Also deceived.
Discovering they too bought,
Lies to buy.
Victimizing themselves.
With a doing of it,
To wish too late...
They had been like the ones,
Using their time to find...
A minding their own business,
Done to do this...
Less to defend.
And noticeably beneficial!
