  BEING SIBLINGS

Is it a dream,
Or a hallucination,
Or what?
With tears in my eyes,
I recall the days,
We spent together,
I recall the times,
We were with each other,
I recall the innumerable moments,
We fought with each other,
I recall the precious seconds,
We loved each other.
When dark clouds hovered,
You came as bright sunshine,
When it rained cats and dogs,
Your heart was a sure shelter.
When I was marooned on a desert island,
Your presence was my existence.
When I went through ordeals,
Your shoulders provided a haven.
But........
Memories and some more.......
Memories.......
Of our being together,
Of our having lived for each other,
Of our inerasable emotions,
Of our unconditional love,
Of our unending feelings,
Of our undulating attachment,
Of our unbreakable connections,
Of our undetachable existence.
There will never be......
The final farewell of our love,
The last goodbye of our sentiments,
The saturation point of our relation,
The end of our feelings.
The culmination of our emotions,
The end of our existence.
Nothing will ever stop me.....
From feeling for you,
From loving you,
From being with you.
The ecstasies will never evaporate,
But will get condensed by the atmosphere.
The joys will not blow like a squall,
But will touch me like the spring breeze.
The bliss will not leave me like seasons do,
But will come to me like everyday sunshine.
The times will never dim,
But will warm me up with every new dawn.
The happiness will never pall on me,
But will grow thicker with passage of time.
The valuable moments will never fade,
Will never loom like a mirage,
But will be re-established,
But will be re-affirmed,
But will be re-started,
But will be re-built,
By you and me.
The years of our togetherness,
Brimming with joys,
More the sorrows,
More the taunts,
More the spats,
More the pains.
But .......
YOU still belong to me,
YOU are still connected to me,
YOU are still rooted in my survival,
YOU are still loved by me.
Every quarrel with you,
Is e re-start of my life with you,
Is a re-affirmation of my existence with you,
Is a re-establishment of my connections with you,
Is a re-building of our love.
Reminiscing those cherished days,
Memorizing those treasured moments,
Remembering those precious times,
You will also miss me........
WON’T YOU?
