I believe you will come back
Even though you left so long ago
Vowing never to return
And cursing your homeland

I believe you can hear my cries
Begging you to come back
To hold me again in your arms
And to feel your lips on mine

I believe you dream of me
Hear my voice in the wind
See my face in the water
And feel my heartbeat in your chest

I believe you truly love me
Your heart just doesn’t know it yet
I believe in you
And always will.
