Beneath Tall Skies Poem by donald sangster brown

Beneath Tall Skies

tiny girl child cries
beneath tall tall skies
sweet baby cries beneath tall tall skies.
pain and hurt she endures
and so she sobs from
deep beneath large sky.
ten million miles out in the blue
percept imagined caught my eyes
i wonder, can you my distant relate
comprehend this baby's cry? far
far away, out in space
so much beyond these eyes
yet i must ask this question
can you hear this likkle girls cries? .
so tiny, insignificant, compared to these mass highs
still i do believe you hear this
this likkle baby's cries
although babies two experience death, and
death and beauty abundant still strive
within these endless circles
minute and awesome, low and high
should I pozess a bit of the power
that direct these sunrayss flight
i would relieve your hurt
my darling
would dry your sad wet eyes
small baby child
small baby child cries
beneath tall, tall skies.
