And so the warm day finally quietens,
Into a dark nights’ waiting arms;
I nestle into dreams, sliding into,
My favourite place, besides you.
Companionable silence blankets us,
As we reach out, warmly reassured,
By the presence of the other;
Allowing curiosity to take over.
While uncovering a new mystery,
With provocative twists and turns,
Surprisingly delightful challenges, en route
To a treasure that unfolds, before dawn.
A beauty! In so few words so much said and what ambience! Great poem. H
Sounds like a very loving plance Anita... Andrew 10
