Waves of pain come crashing in on me
That you move on and can live care-free
I thought I was done being hurt by you
But your secrets come out and they're not few
You lied to me for over a year
Laughing at me, I'm sure, my dear
To think I believed a word you said
That fool is gone, she's buried and dead
If you wanted to hurt me, job well done
Your betrayal weighs on me like a tonne
My heart is aching, why won't it stop?
I close my eyes and the tears just drop
These scars run deep like nothing before
I don't want to feel this anymore
You're empty inside, you're just a shell
You're heart is withered from playing in hell
I regret those years but I cannot change
That love is gone and it feels so strange
Pain and anger are all that remain
One wish to remove you from my brain
I'm sure you're thrilled at my broken heart
You seen it coming from the start
So stay away, over the sea
And never again speak to me
