Betrayed Poem by Cassandra Kinman

Betrayed

Rating: 5.0

I thought you were my friend.
Maybe I was only a game,
For you to play.

I followed you
When they hurt you,
Comforted you when you cried.
Now they are your friends.

Now I feel like
I'm only a ghost
Forgotten long ago.

A few powerful words that fully described the taste of betrayal. I know the feeling so I have been through that painful situation many times but I learned my lesson very well and buried my past and moved on with my life, then becoming the master of my own domain, patiently still waiting for that special one.You are very brave Cassandra, when you decided to get it out your chest once and for all. Bravo! This well penned and poignant write clearly shows your great feelings and poetic talent.10+++ Keep inspiring the World with more of your talented works. God Bless You! Love and Peace for always! Romeo from New York City! ...

simple and short poem, very beautiful, and says a lot, True friends wouldn't have left, friends are forever, It just takes time to see whom you can truly call 'friend'.
