Between Us Poem by jodde taylor

Between Us

Rating: 1.3

In between, the shadows
bare beneath, fainting skin
you have laid, in depths of tenderness.

A step is taken
far away, from where time grows
illumination touches stone
an eye, too fond to know.

Where the trees float
above ideas, forever climbing
the sky sings, without regret
so sweet is the air,
the liquid silence.

Foot prints, fall behind
in dazzling combinations
between us, we searched
all sacred traces.

Lips with meaning
kissed in tranquil waters
flowing with, an ageless knowing
to bring all stars rising.

Found in a vision
within the secrets, of a weary mile
all patience acquires,
was given between us.
