Beware Of Poets Poem by Pen Anthony

Beware Of Poets

If life has taught me anything
Is that the weavers of words
Moreso the ones that are poets
They turn water into wine
So be careful before you dine

They'll turn you into poetry
Now before you feel special
Read what they write about
Their leftover supper
You'll wonder why it's in the bin

Words come easily to them
Their words may sound
Like the soundtrack to your life
It is for this you should be wary of poets
