Beware Of Yesterday Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Beware Of Yesterday

It has already been in ancient times!
All the danger man does to obtain his wealth;
Yes, a man's life under the sun
Which is like the vexation of the spirit.
The sage and the fool have the same end,
But, wisdom excells folly!
And, light excels darkness.
There will always be sunshine after the rain!
For, the wise man's eyes are open in his head;
But, the fool walks around blindly.
To everything, there is a season!
Like the parable of the growing seed;
However, the foolish man's eyes are closed under his feet.
Every river flows into the sea but,
The sea is never full! !
So, beware of yesterday;
For, it is full of the sadness of the past.
