Would it be within my power
To alter, to reconstruct the hour,
I'd also act to change your day
Planning how to take you away
From tasks at work and home,
And things sad you've known.
Using yet-found laws of force,
I'd set us on a cosmic course
To a locale beyond our sphere,
Where two hearts share as one
Lives of harmony, love and fun;
Where happiness is always,
And magical dreams are spun
From the far side of the sun.
