In a 24 hour day,
A lion likes to snooze a lot,
'Bout 20 hours timers say.
That's my nature - like it or not.
Now here at the Lincoln Park Zoo,
Human visitors like to see
Out and about, and so I do,
But catch shut eye while out I be,
Visibly sprawled upon a rock,
Letting the crowds take me all in,
Hopefully not with noisy talk,
As I do nap and nap again.
It tires me out to be a king.
A cat nap is a must do thing.
