Bird Fight Poem by ERNEST CLARY

Bird Fight

Rating: 5.0

I heard some birds bickering this morning
looking out to see
one in its beak a worm it was dorning
up in a tree
they began to chase each other about
chirping screeching clashing fight in flight
the worm fell out
downward bound
the birds swooped to the ground
landing atop a burm
and continued to screech and fight
over the confounded worm
gnashing bashing crashing
the worm started dashing
stashing himself under a leaf
after the lashing the birds started hashing
showing some releif
realizing the worm was out of sight
where he had been
the crazy birds started to fight
all over again

I've seen birds act this way, even in the absence of the worm. I always woder if one may have insulted the other one's mother. A nice write indeed. Best regards, my friend Richard
