Bird Flu Poem by Bragg Adocio

Bird Flu

Rating: 2.7

The cause of my affliction,
The beating in my heart.
The drug to my addiction,
Still high when we're apart.
The ache that causes so much pain
Then heals me when we're near.
My legs so I can stand the rain,
My ears so I can hear.
The thought that keeps me up at night
The thought that gives me rest.
The adrenaline rushing when in my sights
IncreAse the beating in my chest.
And the beating in my chest is from the language of the heart.
But I'm less than fluent so for me it makes it hard to play the part.
Dear BlackBird, BlackBird, I wrote this song for you and I will sing it every night.
But if doing this for you is wrong than tell me, whAt is right?

The cause of my affliction
The beating in my chest
The bird that keeps me up at night
And leaves me free to rest
I wrote this poem just for you
I hope you think it well
A list of the symptoms of love for you
In this sickness tale I tell.
