Bird Of Prey Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

Bird Of Prey

A bird of prey
Circling around
High in the sky
Eyes on the ground

Once prey detected
A silent swoop
An amazing sight
Its prey it scoops

Back to the nest
Hungry chicks await
Hungrily they feed
First of the day

Soon their ready
To take to the sky
Like their parents
Become birds of prey
