Birthday

birthday
a day of remembrance
the penance undergone in love for love
by the light that shadows us
like the eyelids for the eyes
our mother.

birthday
a thanksgiving day
for the creator’s generosity
and mother’s anticipation
to bring forward another soul for continuity
of human race
so this bud may blossom
into beautiful petals
and colorful flowers.

birthday
a day to rejoice
the confluence of five elements at the fullest term
to draw forth a splendor of nature
in the form of an infant.

birthday
a day to humble our lives
in promises holy
that today on this special day
another good I add unto my life
and please grant me thy fullest blessing
as my present to my mum
who was in pain during this joyous moment years ago.

birthday
a day to feed the hungry stomachs
that may cross our path with stretched arms
lets all eat well, sleep well
on this day of final emergence
a source of mystery
the facet of truth
YOU - my friend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY.
