As you get older and begin to mature,
You’ll find times of which you’re unsure.
This is natural, a process as you grow,
And there are things you still won’t know.

As you grow older things will be strange,
And you’ll notice many things to change.
Someday soon you know the day will come,
Before you’re able to enjoy your freedom.

Remember someone’s watching over you,
So that your future will be bright and true.
Be sure to always listen to the inner voices,
So that you’ll always make the right choices.

So as you celebrate this day of your birth,
Know there’s a reason you’re on this earth.
You bring joy and happiness to those around,
Be sure to lay your foundation on solid ground.
