Bitter End - Poem by Izik Alcox

on my knees for the past five years working
but no longer do I have anyone to come home to
yet I continue to work and she's still lurking
in my heart and through my mind you imbue
with fantasies and tormenting day dreams
a broken heart is what you left me with
working hard everyday my head filled with screams
its amazing how love can cause such writhe
I have lots of untainted love to give away
but it would seem no one wants it from me
the days are blue but for me they seem gray
like I'm floating all alone out at sea
