Bittersweet - Poem by Loi O'Brien

Sad and happy sniffling snot wrapping a gift,
To put in the mail for my dear bestie's wedding
Happy she is loved, but sad we will never have another
missandric night on her sofa eating red velvet cake
ice cream and watching Sleepless in Seattle,
both crying why we couldn't find our very own
