Black And White Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Black And White

Rating: 5.0

black and white
I ignite
the dark alley to the parking lot
not the very small car

not the white car that once hit Diana's driver
and caused that tragic death
none of them at all!

I'll tell you all

black and white
never divided
united forever
stands constant
bold and beautiful blends

often the white is so-so
but the black is continuous
scintillating,
Wow Wow!

black and white
I ignite
illuminated
and united

finally I have arrived
in the place where my sweetheart lives

the most beautiful mixture
not on my brush
nor painting

I thank the Lord

His most beautiful creation,
friendliest
and most peaceful
