Black Ants Poem by Noorul Basar

Black Ants

Behold these unlucky black ants,
Mourning in their natural texture
The greyness of sinister earth,
Dampened by untimely rain.

They struggled no less
Than nature for its laws demands.

O behold! their misery is common and one;
So is their struggle for survival's sake.

Commonality is all they have
Or else they perish with another little pour.

But nature keeps its promise,
And clouds part their ways.
Hope shines, and life thrives again.
