Black Bubblegum Poem by Kevin Patrick

Black Bubblegum

Rating: 5.0

Chewing peppermint angst in tar soaked lip gloss
buried in morbid chic and freak apparel
in vain ephemeral of poseur peril
brewing brooding adolescents
licking, spewing
black black
bubble gum
making out with death when life doesn't need you
consuming doom in a teenagers tomb
a plague of youth in full bloom
rinse the pink and fully spit
black black
bubble gum

wearing shades of sable midnight
traced in lace and bible velvet
your ashen face, weeps in its essence
seeping bliss you wish you felt it
a self-sustaining succubus
wretched seeking covetous
your coffees black
but leave me the metal
my yearnings yang
your yin just settles

a bitter mellow, fiendish fellows
always spewing black bubble gum

craven despair inside your electric blue hair
held captive in your own putrescence
sucking out cheer's effervescence
a sycophant to doom & darkness
chomping flossing, cussing
black black
bubble gum
digging the company of the graveyard scene
your only hear the cure of disintegration
a friend of suicides invitation
happiness a malady
life eats away
nibbling, dribbling, pimping
black black
bubblegum

the charcoal lines of your mascara
prove your glooms sweet ingenue
dreaming of your own viscera
the rotten stench of teen spirit
fashion trends of new depression
misery is now in session
happy that your never happy
your favorite flavors apathy

a grim-core megalomaniac
A carcinogenic aphrodisiac
bile spewing, asphalt chewing
black bubblegum
