Black Rose Poem by Ana Liza Corpuz Nabor

Black Rose

Daunted to be left,
So I seek attention to a friend;
But she was covered with sham kindness
Pushing me to end up floating in a stream of madness.

Hatred then followed me,
What a despicable emotion I felt;
Betrayed by a friend,
Invaded with great pretense.

One day remorse will chase her.
That day, not now I suppose. But soon.
