A Wish Poem by Ana Liza Corpuz Nabor

A Wish

I wish death is just an experience
After knowing it, or
How it feels,
We can come to life again.

I wish death is an ally
It will come when life is so hard;
It will rescue souls to be shattered
From the cave of distress.

I wish death is just one call away
From miles it will travel to console a miserable heart
As the the wind blows from the West,
Might it put to rest the ever perplexed mind.

I wish death is a friend.
But how sad it is - death is a rival of life
Death is the irony of life.
Death is the end of life!

I wish when death is beside me, it'll not take me
I will remain and discover next new life.
I wish death will hear this.
I wish it is not sleeping.

I wish death will lend just days to let me rest.
I wish death could bring me peace......
Just for a day,
And live again.
i wish......
