Black To Gold
Trying so hard
To paint it gold
Comes out so blue
Leads to damn black
White around corner
Silver almost there
Blue returns for more
Black is now the score
Yellow shining through
Golden sun right there
Pink tarnishing black
Red now spilling blood
Sky blue coming to life
Silver blistering black
Red's bloodline breathing life
Golden sunrise now mine
Poignant with with hope at the end. Thought provoking beautifully crafted write. Liked the penultimate stanza.10
