Black Widow Poem by Steffi Webster

Black Widow

Poor pathetic fool you think you
Fell but you were tripped. Nothing
Accidental about your little slip.
Before me stand and offer up your
Heart on a silver platter, hoping to
Flatter but I stole it long before,
Beneath my boots upon the floor.
I wormed into your soul in full
Control and made you mine.
I ate your bread and drank your
Wine, take it as a sign.
You stumbling, fumbling little fool
You drool upon your own desire
Cast your hopes upon the fire.
You thought it was love at
First sight but I am proof it’s blind.
So here I sit to crawl around
Inside your dull blank mind.
Wind my poison round your
Bones and flood it through
Your veins. Rip apart and suckle
On the sinew that remains.
Yes I hear your supplication
Pitiful in adoration, I’m the one
And only, you dread being lonely
But you are mine. Was not your choice
You followed, helpless the seductive
Pied piper voice.
A slaughtered lamb ready to be damned.
False happy bliss of Miss Manipulation,
Enjoy the elation while it lasts
For you are now mine for all of time
Enslaved within love’s twisted rhyme.
