Blake Poem by Ruth Mettler

Blake

Little hands and little feet
A smile that is oh so sweet
Many smudges on the wall
Will fade away as he grows tall
He learns so easy
He learns so well
His bright eyes do so tell
He likes to laugh
He likes to clown
And on his face theer is no frown
He brings sweet love
He brings great joy
This curly head, energetic boy
May God bless him all his life
Keep him from heavy burden and strife
