Blame Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Blame

Rating: 5.0

Placing blame on the germ
That sent my world into flames
Will not cure the hurt or justify
My self-inflicted pain

The best solution is to stand…
Continue in a forward direction
Spread new roots and grow
Self-esteem stops the infection

I really like this piece, Theresa. I especially like the second verse. Self esteem is a necessary ingredient for happiness. Thanks for sharing a great write. Richard

Nicely put and very good advice. If we could only do what is best and do what we know is best or even good for us and others. Some things of this earth we can change and others we never will be able to change. Self esteem is the necessary first step as you advocate.
