Blast From The Past Poem by Ima Ryma

Blast From The Past

The old vending machine once sold
A piece of chocolate for just
A penny to the young and old,
Who felt the craving and so must
Have found the time and penny to
Make a purchase from the machine,
That never paid attention who
Was the buyer, no need to screen.
Back then only one choice to pick,
Single piece of chocolate sweet.
If not delivered, then a kick.
If delivered, a joy to greet.

But chocoholic dreams do cease -
Paying one penny for one piece!
