Please place your hand
Upon my head and bless me;
Give me your strength to face
The odds in life, from inhibitions
Please set me free;

I look at your face and feel proud
For the wrinkles and frays;
That you have earned as I trudged
Behind you like a shadow
Thorough learning hours the days;

Bless me from where you are now
Watching me growing up;
You must be smiling how fast I
Can walk upon the foot prints
You have left never thinking to stop.
