Blinding Light Poem by Jayne Doe

Blinding Light

Shadows cast
From constant light
What makes us see
Can cause our plight

Flickering sparks
Of dying flames
Light to dark
And back again

Everything remains
But looks not the same
As what we see
Can always change

Darkness, darkness
All around
Hide from me
My stable ground

I sink, I float
I see, I don't
The light was on
And now it's off.
