To cherish this moment,
one that's been snatched
from shackles of anxiety
is simply pure bliss.
Amidst all the agony,
trudging stretches of stress
all through the week;
It's indeed a blessing
to be gifted this morning.
Let the blast of fresh air
whizzing through the balcony
Kill all melancholy.
As fingers entwine
a glass of wine,
silence the cacophony
to steal a moment's peace.
Forgo all your worry
and escape into ecstasy,
Because a day like this
Comes but once a lifetime.
