On a September evening
You and I sat side by side
With my eye closed and ears wide open
I soared with the sound of your guitar
You serenaded me with “oh my love”
The simple words have made their marks
Looking into my eyes, you sang with your soul
What was there to do but to open my heart

A beautiful moment was captured
Captured in my heart
Captured by my mind
It was so blissfully beautiful
It captivated my innocent heart
Awakened my dormant mind and
It was a moment when I felt content
A moment when all possibilities seem so near
And everything was in perfect harmony

A moment like this will never be forgotten
It was the purest of the purest delight
I have been blessed to have such a moment
It will be cherished till my heart no longer beats
