Blow It All Away Poem by Michael Ryan Haden Thompson

Blow It All Away

Rating: 5.0

Following, reckoning,
doing what I can.
Following, reckoning,
doing what I can.
Doing what I can.

Soaring, falling,
Castle in the sky.
Come in and embrace.
Come in and embrace.
Climbing, falling,
Fantasy ensues,
Reality is dying.
Climbing, soaring,
falling, falling.
Fantasy ensues,
Reality is dying,
Reality is dying,
Reality is dying.

I'm gonna blow it all away.
Blow it all away.
Embrace the world, its vanity.
Reject them, the reasons that I seek.

Tell me what's happening to me.
Cross the roads' silent eternity.
Calling, across the worlds' divides.
Singing, whose spirit now resides.
Blow it, blow it all away.
These thoughts refuse me to sway.
Darling, it's really not too late,
to save me from asylum's great mistake.

Did I tell you I am falling?
Green skies, demonic ghost's demise.
Hold the tears of whom are crawling,
Stricken forth, vain in solace skies.
Christen thee, five points in cyclone sand,
Summon thee, blood of begotten hand.
Older than these ancient memories,
Forever young, phantom symphonies.

Forever young...
Phantom symphonies.
