Blue Sky Poem by Esther Moe

Blue Sky

Rating: 4.5

A palette of azure
Majestic, spotless, pure

Satisfying the heart, pleasing the eye
Appears the wonderful, unclouded sky

One glance compels you to surrender to its healing properties
And insists that you partake of its beautiful qualities

The second you set your eyes on it, your mind slows down its pace
Joy begins to rise up that produces a smile upon your face

The vulture floats gracefully round and round
In an ocean of cerulean that he has found

Open and vast, such a lovely place
With no reservation or limit on space

Hope, joy, peace, tranquility, serene on a crystal clear day
The sun shines its light on it for miles that you cannot blink away

Hear the jets coming from the nearby base
Cutting through the air leaving behind a stream of sprayed on lace

Smell the sunny, crisp air that compliments its lovely shade
And leaves a sense of awe and wonder that will never, ever fade

See the sun extend its rays to touch the heavenly canvas
Taste and see that He is good, so good to us

The chaos below, the calmness above
I can only describe it as nothing but love

Blue sky
A palette of azure
Majestic, spotless, pure

A blue sky might seems to be a beautiful day, but gray skies are the source of life.
