Blue There Is A Lot To That Color Poem by Sandra Dodd

Blue There Is A Lot To That Color

Blue
such a nice color
used to describe a less than contented mood
skin of someone just recently this earth departed
a great cheese or salad dressing
dress of a uniform to indicate formality
oceans and skies, though often this is not reality
a pill that gives romance another chance
the hair of an old lady
balls that have had no marital attention
pants of a rugged nature
a saphire birthstone
screen that brings the unreal real in a movie
eyes of the blonde beautiful women
the grand divide between God and man
gills of a fish many wish they could catch each spring

It is such a nice color
Apparently representing the
wonderful and less desireable
A color fairly judged
We are all more than
it appears on the surface
