Bluebird Poem by Rokket Grrl

Bluebird

I try to change the world so I can end up in your arms
And I'm addicted to all your devilish charms
You pull me in close and lock me away
And you take away my voice and make me pay
If I can't speak my words I can't yell in your face
Or tell you I hate and that you're a disgrace
I can't tell you I care but need to go
And I can't tell you that I will always know
I can't shut away the tears or take them back
And you can't turn around since you made that pact
I told you my secrets because I thought you wouldn't tell
But you shouted them in the places where you dwell
You changed your mind and broke you word
And you turned your back on this bluebird
