Bluer Is The Night Poem by Cynthia Aluning

Bluer Is The Night

Rating: 5.0

Time tickles so fast it flies
Another long waiting hours
To see Adonis of the nights
The ellusive dream valentino
Her knight of shining armor
Wishing for a shooting star
Awaiting shadow from afar

Weird thoughts crumpling the mind
Blaming how fast clock tells time
Neither a voice nor a slim shadow
From a noble steed-riding hero
The king of denials...
Of drivel, vacuous lies
Of flatteries and promises
From the prince of alibis
The moongoddess despised
From a painful strange disguise
Day in-day out...
A swan turned sitting duck
with a tearful gloomy eyes

Wake up! and grow up!
Face the painful realities
The outside world fits in
Real and reel possibilities
Gone are the days...
Of fairytales and dreams
Impossible things dont exist
And night still bluer than it is...
