Bob The Green Blob Poem by Kevin Patrick

Bob The Green Blob

Rating: 5.0

Cruising on midnight
I saw fire in the sky
Then a spaceship landed
Like a chromium pie
The captain came out
And said "lets go for a ride
8 miles and high

Laying low on the bridge
Riding shotgun round the sun
as a bank of computers
were pre-programed to run
and the pilot set course
pass the moon like a shotgun
where going to have some fun

to the racetracks of Jupiter
well hit the arcturian jackpot

a little nitrogen Champaign
to clear your synapsis of robots
try a Venusian masseuse
her ten tentacle digits
will hit your x-axis spot

I'm half a tick parsec
From a motel on mars
Pass the roundabout asteroids
And silver machine cars
Need to put on the breaks
Or Ill be quantumly crashing
Until I'm seeing stars

Here's to jelly blob Bob
He's as nice as cool Lime
My first-rate space friend
He's a real fine slime

Great verse, Kevin. Reminds me of a time eating green Jello, watching Ghost Busters....

First rated friend is affectionate. Mars visit always gives a friend amazing feeling. You have seen fire in sky lying in a mode of bridge. Going for a ride absolutely very high for 8 miles your friend has witnessed the surface of Earth. A little nitrogen Champaign clears your synapsis of robots and you like to take care of its to clear the machine. Moving in space is amazing. An excellent poem is very brilliantly penned.10

A great imaginative write with a captivating title and compelling imagery. A wonderful read for children too. Very entertaining as if I am watching a movie, timely for this pandemic.
