Body Like A Rose Poem by Brittany Elizabeth

Body Like A Rose

She holds herself tight,
clenching her swollen stomach,
Tears streaming down her face
burning all the way.
Her body like a rose,
blossomed and full,
with wretched pain her mouth
forms hollow words.
Her silenced screams are echoed
through out the walls,
She's alone with no where
to go.
Her body pulses and cringes,
the pressure like fire inside her.
Every muscle in her body jolted
with pain.
At the very moment,
all is numb.
Her body like a rose,
Sprouting.
Growing new life.
