Body's Husk
When my soul departs
Bury the body husk
Coffin deep
Within grave where parents reside.
At final rest
In St Mary's cemetery
On hill overlooking Caterham Valley
Soul with a loving God.
Mark the grave
With headstone inscribed
‘Colin Ian Jeffery,
Poet, who found his true love.'
