Bomber Pilot: presumed dead':,

By this is discarded torment and the throes
Of the enemy's miracle. End of the war for him.
Oh, do not appraise his ineffectual trials,
The ill campaign that shuttered the stars
And the head enclosing its dim report -
Noting with dreadful fluency
The sweet injustice of the sun still shining.
