Existence skewed towards aberrations
Even without a plumb line in view.
Taboos morphed into norms
Traditions discarded for vanities
Profanities propagated in the land
The gods gorged with abominations.
Thieves enthroned with honourable garbs;
Honourable men trampled to the dustful
Earth of scorn and disdain.
Wisdom disregarded for wealth,
Knowledge cast adrift;
Out of the scale of balance
By the tremendous weight of mediocrity
Heavily wound with the thread of tribalism.
Mephitic display overrides merits
Everyman now set towards the chaotic path
To fill their bellies and pockets.
Chaos breeds more chaos
Order long trampled to death
Now bombs explodes incessantly,
Live decimated in power play struggles
Of men seeking unworthy crowns.
Bacteria from loose grips
Of unworthy hands
Now ravage our flesh and purse.
