Bonna & Jhona Poem by Ian Jay Bantilan

Bonna & Jhona

Amazing how good the time we have,
When we are together,
The friends and memories we share,
And hope the parting will be never.

A whole bunch of buzzling people
to Creek Park running, frolicking
Their faces full of Joy and Tickles
And their voices loud of singing.

But why is my face so sad?
And melancholy amidst the laughter?
Is it an empty stomach
Or the reason would be another....

Another way we are incomplete,
When they have shared a part of us.
And time for them to leave.

A certain kindness we miss.
A certain fun will cease
A warm laughter we seek
Because each friend longs to be complete

Bon Jour mon-ami, Bon-jour
Travel on the high seas...
We will miss you, come back if you please.

Our hearts, our wishes be to you
That your travel be safe while you flew
To arms wide open,
Parents who love you
And Relatives so dear
They are the ones you hold so near.

Just remember not to spend your all,
Because when the time you're back,
People are waiting for youáll
They cry for you and most of all,
Your Pasalubongs and full sacks.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
