Boring Life - Without 'x' Factor Poem by Sheeya Hacks

Boring Life - Without 'x' Factor

Rating: 5.0

All say without sex life is boring,
but nobody says without Tax life is even more abhorring,
to pay more tax you need to do hard labour,
just like trying to catch fish without any bait.

Being taxed is like being locked behind bars,
devoid of any free-flowing desires and stars,
a life without intimacy is a downer for certain,
but a life without remitting taxes, oh my, that's an enticement!

It's better to pay taxes and enjoy life's fullness,
than being in a financial mess, that's truly merciless,
so let's embrace the Taxman and his demand for dough,
and enjoy pleasures of the flesh both high and low.
