Johannes Mphamo
Born To Be Sad
She has'nt smiled not once in her life
All happiness in the world was a lie
She longed to laugh and giggle
But it was a dream that would never come true
Here she was hiding behind a fake smile
Planning to walk a distance of a mile
Thinking maybe, it might clear her mind
People think she's happy
But deep down it was hell
She was told to face her fears
But her fears are what she sees everytime she looks in the mirrow
Lot of people had become a part of her life
And many have wronged her
Broke her heart
And left her to pick-up the pieces that reflected the greatest pain she has ever felt
She longed to forgive but they never cared
She tried to smile but only fear came out
Out-of all, sadness was her friend
She could hear her heart beating anger
Her mind thinking sadness
Sadness was all she knows
One thing lead to another
Oh, where is the mother
Brother is gone to souther
She's drawning in the pool of her own tears
She was born to be sad
