I have just come to a sad and true realization
It is wrong to love with such desperation
When you want something you shouldn't show it
If you long to be with someone make sure they never know it
Because people only want what they can't have
If it is easy to get then it becomes a drag
So incase yourself in a layer of stone
And when people stop by to say hi pretend no ones home
If you are always there, then there is nothing to miss
If your always ready and willing it takes the fun out of a kiss
Nothing in this world will truly last
Once you get all of something the excitement will pass
In this sad world no one can win
Get what you want by living alone in a den
Push people away if you want them to stay!
