Bourbon Street Poem by Abdullah Jamil

Bourbon Street

I had a walk alone
In the street Bourbon
In the evening on Saturday
What I saw don't know how to say

Saw the ugly nudism behind
Solution that the Civilization should find
Enjoyed the jazz music on the road side
Topless ladies and gays nothing to hide

Poor people earning money showing talent
Sex gets priority and indolent
Dunks are enjoying their glasses
Strippers showing their asses

Saw a drunken young lady
Imbalanced mind and body
Fell down on the road on dirty water
May be someone cheated her

Shouting and crying to someone invisible
People laughing at her is incredible
Nothing I could do for that poor girl like dove
Could be someone's queen of love
