Boyfriend
I may have not been the best boyfriend ever,
I may have had my flaws,
I may have been wrong,
And hurt you with what felt like claws.
I may have not been the best boyfriend ever,
I may have been a liar,
I may have had an addiction,
But loving you made me feel like i was on fire.
A burning sensation,
One like no other,
One that I never wanted to go away,
I don't know why you'd even bother.
Now my heart is cold,
Frozen since the time you left,
Feels like I can't breath,
I blame you for the greatest theft.
You took my heart,
I can no longer love,
I miss you more by the minute,
Ill just leave it to the one above.
I may have not been the best boyfriend ever,
And I know that now,
I apologize for all the heart aches,
But I do make you this vow,
When you have healed and put it in the past,
Make me your man again for I'm here to stay
One more time,
I promise to take to make the pain go away.
