Boys And Girls Poem by Res John Burman

Boys And Girls

You said,
'You must be nine! '
In your fond,
Mock chiding, voice.
'Of course I am, '
I replied,
'You know the rules,
Boys WILL be boys,
But Oh you Girls,
You Lovely Girls,
When you're awake,
You are always
Grown-ups! '
